The Directors and the Management at SafetyPass Inc. recognize that responsible and modern environmental practices are part of doing business today. Computer, software and IT systems can reduce paper waste as does our product card systems and database however much can be done corporately and by our people to ensure an environmentally responsible operation promoting a healthier world. We promote environmental stewardship at work, at home and in our community.

Reducing and Recycling Waste


Recycling

  • Promote environmental stewardship and try to conduct business only with environmentally responsible suppliers and business associates.

  • Use reusable products only. i.e. ceramic coffee cups, plates, dishes, cutlery etc.

  • Avoid all environmentally unfriendly products like styrofoam products, detergents, chemicals etc.

  • Purchase only goods with recyclable containers and packaging.

  • Recycle all products i.e. beverage containers, metal, plastic, e-waste, cardboard, paper, organic

  • Sort and dispose only to approved and recognized waste collection and recycling depots.

  • Transmit and store and manage all multi-media and data digitally.

  • Use two-sided copiers when paper use is unavoidable.

Reducing our Environmental Footprint on Society


  • Turning off the office lights and lowering the heat or AC at night and on weekends.

  • Encourage and reward employees who use public transit systems and to car pool.

  • When available, rent or lease “hybrid” or alternative fuels vehicles only.

  • Using only recycled and environmentally friendly products when there is a choice. i.e. non-bleached paper goods, cleaners, containers.

  • Become involved in regional reforestation programs, creek and river bed reclamation, adopt-a-highway programs or other public awareness campaigns.

  • Establish a renewable energy infrastructure to replace the energy we take from the grid i.e. investing in solar or wind farms.
